AFRS - What is it? Software installed in the treater, for the possibility of operation in the mode of automatic regulation of the supply of the working fluid (AFRS). The automatic fluid regulation system (AFRS) is designed to determine the actual weight of the seeds, which are fed by the dispenser into the treating chamber, and to automatically adjust and dose the appropriate amount of working fluid. During the treatment process, the system maintains the required proportion of seeds and fluid. AFRS - How does it work? For the correct and accurate operation of the AFRS, it is necessary to correctly calibrate the performance of the treater. The procedure consists of several stages:
- In the control panel, press TEST AFRS, after which seed loading into the hopper begins. This amount of seeds, which the hopper holds between the upper and lower sensors, is unloaded and weighed on the scales.
- In the settings, manually enter the parameters – RATE – the desired flow rate of the working fluid in one minute, CONSUMPTION – the amount of working fluid that should be used for one ton of grain. MASS OF THE HOPPER is the grain weight, which we determined experimentally by weighing the seed mass between the upper and lower sensor.
Indicators are set. Later, during the treatment process, the system maintains the necessary proportion of seeds and fluid.
At the beginning and during the operation of the treater in automatic mode, you MUST check (specify) the value of the seed dispenser productivity indicator. The parameters set by the operator and the parameters checked and set by the automatic fluid regulation system (AFRS) may differ due to the influence of such factors as seed moisture, its impurity, variety and others.
To check the productivity indicator, it is necessary to fill the seed hopper up to the upper sensor and press the button on the control panel CHECK and immediately close the damper. The checking process starts automatically. After the completion of productivity measurements, the AFRS automatically adjusts the flow rate of the working fluid, which will ensure the accuracy, optimality and economy of the consumption of the treater.
After the checking process, the valve must be opened.
