In the area of chemical plant protection, an important issue is the accurately dosing of liquids, since it is complicated by several factors pre-determined by the specificity and multi-component composition of the applied means for pre-sowing treatment of grain seeds. There are many methods of dosing, which have
their advantages and disadvantages.
The new dosing pump was designed on the basis of the developed peristaltic pump. The pumps applying this principle of operation are used in various fields, including medicine, and they have several advantages, which are absent in pumps, applying other principles:
1. High precision of dosing.
2. Quick adjusting of required application rate of the working liquid.
3. Possibility to pump multi-component working solutions, including solid inclusions in the liquid.
4. Calibration of the installed application rate of the solution for maximum precision dosing.
5. Reverse.
6. High maintainability of parts, which are most prone to wear and tear
1. Housing
2. The rotor with rollers
3. Pressing roller
4. The guide roller
5. Flexible tube
6. Nipple
7. Control buttons
8. Seven-segment LED display
The pump NP-02 is designed for dosing liquids (in particular, chemicals). Its productive capacity is adjusted using the buttons located on the front part of the pump and is indicated on the display. The pump housing is made of polypropylene, which is resistant to chemicals. The working part of the pump (rollers
and flexible tube) is protected by a cover made of transparent polycarbonate. The tube is made of the material: Norprene® - black neoprene rubber (Tygon Tubing, Italy)
Specifications:
Protection class (DIN EN 60529): IP43
The dosing range: 0.1-3.3 l / min
Dosing step: 0.01 l
Pressure (maximum): 1.5 bar
Material: polypropylene (PP)
Peristaltic tube: Norprene®
Power supply: 240 V ± 10%
Maximum power consumption: 75W
Temperature range: from + 5 ° C to 50 ° C
Functioning of the pump:
In order to move the liquid, the peristaltic dosing pump NP-02 uses two pressing rollers and two guide rollers to prevent displacement of the tube. The stepper motor is used for the rotation of the rotor with rollers, which results in accuracy and stability of speed, ensuring accurate dosing. The electronic control
unit allows to set the desired flow rate of the applied liquid, which is indicated on the display and, if necessary, to carry out calibration of the set rate to achieve maximal accuracy of dosing.
No pouring out of the residual solution is observed when the process of treatment is stopped. If necessary, it is possible to return the residues of the solution from the elements of the hydraulic lines to the main tank.
When processing wheat seeds using the seed treater with the productive capacity of 10 tons / hour, the cost of the applied disinfectant only could reach the sum of $ 400-600, and the cost overrun due to inaccurate dosing may be 5% making up the loss of $ 20-30 per machine hour!
